My daughter loves this cartoon, but before she ever started watching it, my husband and I feel in worship with it. Charlie and Lola are enormous examples of sibling interaction and they have so powerful fun together! You will savor this prove, the large British accents, and so will your child!

1) There are many songs in the movie that Warner does not possess the rights to. When the movie was released to theaters it was a Columbia Portray and ColGems was their music rights division.

2) Apparently Hanna Barbera did not maintain all rights to this movie and their first movie “HEY THERE IT’S YOGI Occupy”, they were partnered with Columbia Pictures. When Turner Entertainment bought Hanna Barbera they did not gather definite rights to these Hanna Barbera Movies. Therefore when Turner sold his library to Warner Brothers, Warner didn’t score distinct rights to these Hanna Barbera Movies.

In the midst of the mid- ’sixties contemplate craze came this 90 miniature feature length film. It was Hanna- Barbera’s second theatrical feature, the first being Hey There, It’s Yogi Beget. Everything trustworthy about the Flintstones to date found its arrangement into this 1966 movie, but this Columbia release (now Warner Bros.) also features seven songs and two different animation looks in the opening and closing title sequences. HB, to their credit, kept the loved survey of the long running prime time TV display for the entire feature. The DVD release was held up for a long time due to various debacles, but amazingly, this release managed to sustain the cel-look shroud art, while the serve features three title cards traditional in theaters.

The film is in English with French and Spanish subtitles, but other than that, there are no extra features, which seems surprising, but perhaps an enhanced version will be released if this one does well. All the classic characters are here: Alan Reed as Fred, Mel Blanc as Barney, Jean Vanderpyl as Wilma, Gerry Johnson as Betty, not to mention June Foray, Harvey Korman, Paul Frees, Don Messick, and Janet Waldo. The Man Called Flintstone, coming two years later, is more developed than Hey There, Yogi Occupy, which is also a musical, and which also gave the HB art department a chance to experiment with different visual styles in the musical numbers.

This is a palatable film, well-drawn, quick paced, well-plotted, with the usual cartoon conundrums and domestic dilemmas, drawing to a satisfying denoument. In other words, three times the length, but following the formula of every Flintstones episode. Here though, the genius of this cartoon, in writing, character, and memoir, clearly shines, whereas in the episodes, it’s easily taken for granted. The film clips true by, whereas another notorious HB feature, The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones, which runs two hours instead of 90 minutes, seems to high-tail. Flintstones fans, cartoon lovers, and animation buffs won’t want to miss The Man Called Flintstone.

The record goes something like this: The mystical energy hump that maintains order to the world (the Dragon Stream) has been disrupted. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a petite supernatural butt whipping by some everyday kids. It’s also really decent of Funimation to contemplate their fans in deciding to release a paunchy 26-episode box residence release for microscopic more than the individual seasons have been selling for until now.

I originally bought these for my 3-yr former nephew but he’s not quite ready for the Zombie Island movie, but found the Aliens to be humorous. The cartoons were both okay, but not as great as the current cartoon series. I personally liked the Zombie movie better than the Aliens.

I really did even believe about buying this series until bored one day while browsing the titles at best capture (over priced!!) . So, compulsively, i bought this box station…and the rest is very superb history. I really enjoyed this series. Not the most complex that i have watched, but it was fun. It reminded me of Elfen Lied, which i also enjoyed. My suggestion is this…want to take your time with a fun anime…survey this one…

So this is where our “Burst Angel” myth begins with all that mess, the anecdote opens with Kyohei Tachibana, a student at a culinary arts school with dreams of someday becoming a patissier (pastry chef) . In Episode 11, the group finally arrives in Kanna Village - but the village appears to have been abandoned. Seized by awe, the villagers have hid, and most are trembling with panic and second thoughts about going against the Nobuseri. Luckily, Kikuchiyo arrives and lures the villagers out, assuring them that if they have faith in the Samurai, they will prevail. Kambei then assesses the spot and inspires the villagers to rise together against the Nobuseri. The Samurai each go about their seperate tasks, preparing the Villagers for battle, as well as changing Kanna Village into a make-shift Fortress. But Farmer Manzo is composed clear to sell the Samurai out to the Bandits - and it is up to Kirara and Katsushiro to terminate him when he tries to relate a Nobuseri sergeant. Finally achieving Kambei’s approval, the group is finally complete at Seven. But the fight is long from over - the Bandits are growing restless, and the Village will soon be harvesting their rice. But with their alliance come by, the Farmers show a battle flag to the Samurai - and the group prepares themselves for the first of many battles to arrive.

My Review: Although not really comparable to Kurosawa’s masterpiece, this fable re-telling continues to excite and dazzle. This sparkling and beautifully detailed work of art brings Kurosawa’s message and involving record to the 21st Century. If you’re looking for an identical clone to Kurosawa’s unusual, you’ll be disappointed, but most likely unbiased as entertained.

I was extremely skeptical when I heard about the proposed prequel to the greatest television science fiction saga of this generation. Attempting to cash in on the success of Battlestar Galactica so soon after the series ended seemed like a losing proposition doomed to mar an incredible franchise. Well, reflect those fears alleviated. The first taste of “Caprica” is absolutely fabulous. For those fans wanting a present like BSG, this is not it.

Caprica is more akin to a recent day detective / suitable / gangster drama with a few sci-fi elements in the mix. The note calm deals with issues like BSG and tackles religion, racial tolerance, faith, monotheism vs. pantheism, terrorism, suicide bombings and the trauma of losing someone you fancy.

Eric Stoltz and Esai Morales are great as Daniel and Joseph. It will be provocative to discover how these characters compose as the reveal continues through the first season. A fairy anecdote spot in a French town caught between the opposing armies of the First World War, “King of Hearts” has lost none of its beguiling charm in the 35 years since its modern release, nor has its message grown feeble. Alan Bates shines as Charles Plumpick, a simple private in a Scottish regiment and perhaps the only sane man in the abandoned town. But is his world of war and brutality really any saner than the make-believe world conjured up by the escaped inmates of the town lunatic asylum, the only residents Private Plumpick encounters during his reconaissance? It is a point of conception that depends entirely on one’s perspective. This whimsical, gentle memoir challenges the watcher to reexamine what constitutes lawful madness, unprejudiced as the asylum characters force Pvt. Plumpick, having been to his initial discomfort acclaimed as the King of Hearts, to decide which role he prefers: king of the fools or fool for King George V? Broca directs his believe screenplay with a deft touch and using a stellar cast of mostly French actors. A very young Genevieve Bujold makes one of her earliest appearances in a major record. The English subtitles aren’t the best I’ve seen (and unlike the VHS version, are distractingly indicate even during English dialogue), but far better than the bad English-dubbed version of “King of Hearts” that is sometimes broadcast or sold. (The best subtitles I have ever seen were on a print that circulated around theatres during the 1970s and 1980s, but I’ve never seen this version ancient for home video.) The secure by Georges Delerue is one of his best.

Quelle Surprise! This DVD version has, without fanfare, at least two entirely unusual scenes in the film that I have never seen before (and I first saw this in 1977) . The first is a lengthier “homily” by Monseigneur Marguerite (aka Bishop Daisy) in the church before Charles’ coronation. What’s magical about this film is that it communicates these ideas with such charm and such finesse. Alan Bates is noble as the gentle yet dutiful Plumpick. A very young Genevieve Bujold is absolutely astonishing as the innocent Coquelicot. I rarely stare the music in a film, but in The King of Hearts it plays a pivotal role in establishing the mood, and accompanying the action. It is also handsome music in its hold lawful.

This could have been an earnest anti-war film heavy-handedly stating its just (remember the movie made of Catch-22? ) . The direction, the music, and the performances of all the actors (Alan Bates and Genevieve Bujold are the only names that I observe, but there isn’t a used performance here), though, engage this far above that level and obtain it a masterpiece that has stood the test of time well.

1. Lower Body. Although this segment uses no weights, it was probably the most attractive of the five. Kimberly begins with simple squats and side-to-side lunges, but she eventually adds in bouncing the ball and raising it overhead; combined with the high number of repetitions, you’ll be really working here. Next comes some glute work while lying face down on the ball, and finally, there is a tough hamstring part performed lying with your feet on the ball.

2. Upper Body. This segment was probably the most disappointing, especially given that Kimberly uses such light weights (I own she is using 3#) . She begins by warming up the upper body with push-ups (an easier version with hands on the ball) and then moves into an upper body circuit. The circuit includes rows, tricep kickbacks, bicep curls, shoulder presses, side raises, and front raises; it is repeated three times, each time adding a few recent moves such as flyes/rear flyes. Kimberly moves like a flash, which makes it difficult to vary your weights as needed (I tried to switch between 5# and 8#) .

3. Core. Kimberly does warm you up here with some spinal rolls and core twists holding the ball. She performs several sets of crunches while seated on the ball, adding a twisting proceed to target the obliques. More oblique work follows while lying sideways over the ball, and then Kimberly moves to the floor for additional crunches, this time passing the ball from feet to hands. Some brief benefit work follows (kneeling while leaning forward on the ball), and then Kimberly finishes with plank work (arms/hands on ball) .

4. Cardio. This segment begins with squats and lunges, rolling the ball in front of you for balance. Kimberly adds in bouncing the ball and tossing it overhead, which was kind of fun. She then ups the intensity with some impact moves such as jacks (holding the ball overhead) and plyo squat jumps (hands on the ball) . There is a brief interval where you continue to work while seated on the ball, but then it’s benefit on your feet for more jumps, hopping out to plank with your hands on the ball. This segment ends with a squat and roll over the ball plus a few mercurial stretches. Although this routine was fairly intense, my HR was only in my target zone for about half the workout (5 minutes) . Also, it took up quite a bit of room in my dinky area.

5. Flexibility. In this final segment, Kimberly leads you through a series of stretches using the ball. There is more of a lower body emphasis, beginning with lunges/hip flexor stretches as well as some standing hamstring stretches. There are a few upper body stretches performed seated on the ball, but for some reason, Kimberly moves very fleet through these and does not possess them for as long as the lower body stretches.

Overall, although these were generally solid, well-designed routines, I didn’t really appreciate this workout. I’m not determined that the 10-minute format works well for mixing strength and cardio; an all-strength program might have been better. However, I would recommend this video to those who like Kimberly, luxuriate in using the ball, and consume to crash their workouts into shorter segments; the fact that the routines are programmable is definitely a broad plus as well.

Following their other dvds, this also is five different 10 puny workouts. You can’t say that you don’t have even 10 minutes to spare. It’s funny; you fair go and do one workout, and before you know it, you have probably made it through a second or third. That’s one of the things I really like about the 10 Petite Solution series.

In the different workouts there is lower body and upper body, cardio, core and one for increasing flexibility. The routines are all creative and enchanting. You aren’t honest doing the usual crunches but different exercises to withhold this novel. The instructor Kimberly, is motivating and she makes it fun. I like the cardio fragment the best. She makes it easy to follow because she is another honorable cuer. You always know what’s next so it’s easy to hold up with. I really like this and while it’s not the most consuming, it’s delightful and mixes up my routine to retain me from getting bored.

Though billed as a “season 4″ state, these 2-discs only beget 14 of the 26 episodes produced for season 4. If you check various dvd listings, you’ll realize that these are the 14 episodes that have not been included on dvd. If you want the other episodes of season 4, you’ll have to score the single discs. Sneaky, huh?

Whatever. There are lots of large things about this residence. First of all it’s FOURTEEN episodes for the same tag you’ve been paying for all the other discs. So it’s more than double the “Hun on the Urge” disc, and 4x some of the early releases. Maybe 4Kids is being pleasant…or maybe it’s unprejudiced burning off the “feeble” episodes as the series makes the leap to the Snappily Forward revamp. Your call.

Second, these are the better episodes from season 4. The first half of the season was kinda hit-and-miss, but the latter half picked things up with a fresh intro sequence, Karai becoming the current Shredder, a mutant outbreak caused by Bishop, and Don’s mutation. Nobody, Usagi Yojimbo, and Gen guest star, the Uncle Augie mystery is solved, and Savanti Romero returns for revenge. There’s also a heartbreaking narrative from Master Yoshi’s early years.

Third, we secure the banned episode “Insane in the Membrane.” This one explains what happened to Baxter Stockman, as well as the introduction of the modern Battle Shell seen in the intro. It’s a puny stronger medicine than the usual fare perhaps, but nothing worth being banned for. Again, your call.

The only thing missing is the season finale “Ninja Tribunal,” which has probably been saved for the direct-to-video Ninja Tribunal storyline coming in 2007. Regardless, this is a must-buy for Turtles fans. A immense value, and enormous entertainment.

I examine that some of us have noticed that this is not really the complete fourth season but is infact only fourteen episodes out of twenty six. There is another episode missing by the design, it’s the Halloween episode “All Hallow’s Thieves” which is supposed to be the second episode on disk one. Counting the ten episodes that reach before these, “All Hallow’s Thieves” and “The Ninja Tribunal” this place is missing twelve episodes all together. As far as I’m concerned this place is a rip off and I sincerely hope Funimation will re-release season four correctly (ie Season 4 Fraction 1 of 2 and Season 4 Piece 2 of 2) later on down the line or I’ll give them a plunge kick they’ll never forget. This is why I only gave it three stars, obliging explain but lousy compilation for this DVD place. All in all you’re better off waiting a shrimp while to gape if it gets a expedient release.
