This movie is a advantageous successor to the new Fantasia movie. The artwork in all the pieces was favorable (although, you could affirm the art from “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is musty) . This movie, as with the new, gave me a greater appreciation of classical music, while attractive me with impressive visual imagery.

Saint-Saens, Carnival of the Animals, Finale. A (very) short, but very amusing section which answers the age frail question: “What happens when you give a flamingo a yo-yo? ” I was laughing out loud at this one.
Dukas, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. This is the same section as from the unusual 1940 movie. Unexcited worth watching after all these years.

Elgar, Pomp and Circumstance. Donald and Daisy Duck star in this reinactment of the sage of Noah’s Ark. Fun to scrutinize and appetizing.
Stravinsky, Firebird Suite. A incredible fable about life, death and rebirth. The allotment builds to a improbable ending, both in the tale and in the music. Some of the younger children may be fearful by some of the scenes in this share as well.
Overall, this movie is a fabulous addition to any home video library.
I was fortunate enough to view this at an IMAX theater. It was an wonderful experience, to be surrounded by such wondrous music and imagery. The animation is of the highest quality, seamlessly blending unique and older styles. It will be keen to view how the film plays out on a more intimate cloak.
Although some of the pieces stand out more than others, they all had charm. ” The Pines of Rome” is the most celebrated segment, featuring lush computer animation of blue whales soaring through the arctic ice until they capture off into the sky. Disney really did a job on this one, with objective enough of a sage to balance out the imagery. Clearly borrowing from the art of Charles Vess, “Firebird Suite” is a dazzling fairy share with a bit of fire and peril. “Rhapsody in Blue” is as stop to perfect as you need to secure, blending a big Gershwin tune with Al Hersfield’s familiar style. And of course, one can never rep enough yo-yoing flamingos.
My personal current is “Pomp and Circumstance,” as it made me hear a fraction of music, and not unbiased the background track to graduation ceremonies. It really took me by surprise, and this is always a trustworthy thing. I also really enjoyed the participation of Donald Duck, who is usually my least celebrated Disney character. It is a very heart warming segment.
