Well what can I say “The Dukes Of Hazzard” Rules. I always wanted to have the complete 145 episodes and now I am so end to have them all with only the Seventh season left to be released.

Somthing changed for The General Lee in Season Six which is the exhaust of miniatures for the stunt sequences, instead of real cars allowing “The General Lee” to waft even higher even though it did not seek exactly like the sincere thing, but I like it due to the fact that the “Chargers” are satisfactory from destruction

The ratings improved over the previous season, but not to same level the series had enjoyed before the walkout of Schneider and Wopat.

When John Schneider and Tom Wopat walked off “The Dukes of Hazzard” at the begin of the show’s fifth season over a bid with Warner Brothers, many idea the point to would never recover. Schneider and Wopat were replaced by two actors (Byron Cherry and Christopher Mayer) who were forced to basically imitate the characters of Bo and Luke Duke, without making their possess heed. The expose marched on, and though it appeared to lose some of its luster, all that changed when Schneider and Wopat returned slow in the fifth season for a royal Hazzard homecoming.

One of the disputes Schneider and Wopat were having with Warner was the lack of innovative or unusual scripts, and it appears that the writers took this into consideration when creating this, the sixth season, of “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Several of the episodes deal with more archaic topics (well, as obsolete as the “Dukes” explain goes!), like ‘A Boy’s Best Friend,’ which centers around the Duke boys coming to the help of an orphan boy; ‘Brotherly Admire,’ which chronicles the return of Luke’s long lost baby brother; ‘Cooter’s Girl,’ where the character played by Ben Jones meets his estranged daughter; or ‘The Boar’s Nest Bears,’ where a boy who unprejudiced lost his father is comforted by the Duke family through a helpful used fashion basketball tournament, albeit with the interference of Boss Hogg.

I dare say that a few of the episodes are downright suspenseful and edgier, most notably ‘Enos’s Last Chance,’ where Sonny Shroyer’s character is chased down by a hit man curved on revenge on the Hazzard deputy. (This is one of my most popular episodes of the entire bustle of “The Dukes of Hazzard.”) This season also produces one of those classic ’80s 2-part episodes built around a broad storyline in ‘Undercover Dukes,’ which is surely one of the most creative and inviting episodes of the entire series rush, most likely due to the tension that is played out within the Duke family during this episode. Then there is ‘Play It Again, Luke,” where Luke’s stale girlfriend, now a rising singer, returns to Hazzard as her manager tries to cash in on her life-insurance policy.

A discussion on season six of this series wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the classic episode ‘Two Many Rosco’s,’ where James Best plays a dual role and shows off some of his weak dramatic acting skills. And longtime cast member Peggy Rea returns as Lulu Hogg in ‘Lulu’s Gone Away,’ where Sorrel Booke’s character of Boss Hogg continues to shine in an episode that shows both Boss Hogg’s softer side and grittier side while trying to salvage the kidnappers who abducted her.

All these shows detached fill all of the lighthearted antics of Boss Hogg and Rosco (who are funnier and cleverer than ever in this season), the warm and down-home charm of Uncle Jesse (played by Denver Pyle) and the sultry sexiness of Catherine Bach, who is peaceful wearing her ‘Daisy Duke’ shorts during these late-era “Dukes” seasons.

It is astounding to eye how well the present continued into its sixth season (not to mention rebounding from the overhauled fifth season), and a lot of the episodes found here are incredibly fresher and better written than some of the episodes found in earlier seasons. This season of “The Dukes of Hazzard” ranks up there with the best of them all, and is highly recommended. A large thanks to Warner Brothers for releasing this series in a timely fashion and treating it with the respect it deserves. They don’t accomplish pleasurable, wholesome family fun shows like this anymore!

Bonus features for this season release feature Ben Jones (Cooter) and Sonny Shroyer (Enos) in a tour of the unique Hazzard County, which was actually Covington, Georgia, where the first episodes of the series were originally filmed, and a special documentary on the Dukes’ renowned car, the General Lee.

DCI Jane Tennison, superbly played by Helen Mirren, is not to be trifled with. Her charging, take-no-prisoners attitude is titanic fun to ogle. She suffers fools poorly . . . or rather they suffer from her. Why do these chauvinists cherish to hold fights with her? Personally, I’d give her wide berth! Prime Suspect begins the six-part series.

Full disclosure . . . I’m a flag waving, red status kind of guy. My gastritis flairs when I confess the Brits blow us out of the pond in dramatic construction. These dramas are not impartial wonderful. They’re awesome. Each is exquisitely plotted with three dimensional characters(maybe Jane has five dimensions) . The action in the squad room has a documentary feel to it.

It is a joy to inspect DCI Jane in action; a role made for Helen Mirren. She flirts with you, insults you, kicks you, and always fights for justice. Usually in a multi-part series such as Prime Suspect, I will have a celebrated . . .but this is not moral here: each is a gem.

Helen Mirren stars as Chief Inspector Jane Tennison in this dramatic BBC miniseries.

A serial killer is at substantial, and Tennison inherits the mantle of investigating the lead suspect. While clear elements of the sage are largely predictable, there is also an unexpected element of surprise with the scheme the fable unfolds. Mirren adds a definitive credibility to the vulnerable character of Tennison, struggling for any reasonable work/life balance, and she proves to be the most intelligent sleuth to near out of England since Sherlock Holmes.

As a teenager a couple of years ago, this present opened a door to my imagination, wanting “Pokémon” to be exact so I could depart the world on foot with my friends or family. It’s a very keen memoir with easy names to remember, it’s all about believing in yourself, following your dreams and caring for others. I first got into Pokémon with the fad was dying off, because I did not want to be caught up in all that madness. My sister who is one year younger than me was into Pokémon, when it first came out in America and she eventually got me into Japanese Animation like this one and other basic shows like “Sailor Moon” and the “Tenchi Muyo” series. This Pokémon boxest is only in English, there are no subtitles on any of the disc, however the explain is Closed Captioned by using your television remote, also there are no special features and the banned episodes that didn’t appear on American T.V., are not on here too. Besides having no special features or the banned episodes, it’s aloof a big boxset of the first half of season one.

P.S. - The “Pokérap” is hear, it’s fair not include as a special feature.

This is the first box position that has been released for Season One of Pokemon. This collector’s spot is indeed only the 4kids American dub with no second Japanese version. It contains three discs; each in a nice hard case that crawl into one cardboard sleeve. The artwork on the box and each individual case is nicely done. The plot contains the first 26 episodes of season one. Designate though, that this is not the entire first season as the American version contains 78 episodes (80 in Japan) . This means, according to my calculations, that two more box sets would need to be released (each containing 26 more episodes) to complete the season.

Also, be aware that the episode, “Beauty and the Beach,” is not in its rightful slot and is not share of this space. Even though it was first banned during season one, it was later played as “the lost episode of Pokemon” during the Orange Islands season (though heavily edited) . It is not definite why the episode was not reinserted benefit into this season, as that would invent logical sense.

The menus are decent but nothing spectacular. When it comes to scenes selection, each episode is divided into only two parts. The first, being before the commercial wreck, and the second, coming after the demolish. The video quality looks graceful gracious. After comparing the color of episode one from this area to the version originally released on DVD with impartial three episodes, I found that the colors were slightly brighter or luminous in this version than the other.

Overall, this is the best edition of season one that there is to date. It’s worth the grasp if you do not mind the American version. Hopefully, they will release the rest of season one very shortly. I rate this product 4 out of 5 stars because it does not fill the episode “Beauty and the Beach.”

In case you’re unaware, blaxploitation is defined as `a genre of American film of the 1970s featuring African-American actors in lead roles and often having antiestablishment plots, frequently criticized for stereotypical characterization and glorification of violence. While African-American filmmakers were substantially enthusiastic in making early movies in this genre, their participation in subsequent productions was minimal.’ MGM releases their films of this genre under the guise of `Soul Cinema’. Universal, who released this DVD, did so under the header `Soul Showcase’…both seem a diminutive pretentious, as it’s all blaxploitation to me (and everyone else), regardless how great they try to worship it up. That Man Lag (1973) features two directors in Henry Levin (Jog to the Center of the Earth) and David Lowell Rich (The Concorde: Airport ‘79) and stars a relative staple of the genre in passe Oakland Raiders / Kansas City Chiefs football star Fred `The Hammer’ Williamson (Murky Caesar, Hell Up in Harlem, Three the Hard Diagram) as the title character, Jefferson Toddle. Also appearing is the portly Byron Webster (The Poseidon Adventure, The Nude Bomb), Miko Mayama (The Hawaiians), and Teresa Graves (Vampira) .

As the film begins, we recognize Inch in a Macao prison, practicing what appears to be some manufacture of martial arts (in trusty life Williamson does beget shaded belts in Kenpo, Shotokan Karate, and Tae-Kwon-Do) sans his shirt so we can all rep a top-notch gawk at his sweaty, naked torso. Turns out he was falsely imprisoned by charges trumped up by a mysterious Englishman, and now said Englishman has afforded his release on the stipulation that Perambulate, who makes a living as a highly paid professional courier, lift on a job appealing the transportation of $1,000,000 to Mexico City, which he does, begrudgingly. Arriving in Los Angeles (I guess there were no allege flights to Mexico City from Hong Kong), he gets attacked in the men’s room by three assailants, but given he has a dismal belt in karate, he makes short work of these guys. A clue leads him to Las Vegas, and there he learns the money is erroneous, along with getting his appreciate interest, who sings in a lounge, killed as more people try to retrieve the dough. It’s personal now as Mosey is positive to collect revenge on those responsible, with the trek leading encourage to where he started, in Hong Kong (gaze for the scene in the Hong Kong fireworks factory…is there a film out there that includes a fireworks factory that doesn’t have it blowing up at some point? ) . He does eventually learn the truth, but that may cost him as his dogged determination has lead to someone putting a contract out on his life, a contract to be fulfilled by a deadly assassin named Spider. Survival seems slim, given the power leisurely the machinations to which Run is but a pawn, but they messed with the faulty brother, and Bolt’s about to bring their world down around their ears.

While watching this film, I couldn’t encourage feel the filmmakers were trying to emulate the favorite Bond films with the character of Toddle (Heck, they even have the same initials Jefferson Move - James Bond) . Lumber is passed off as a broken-down captain of U.S. Special forces, graduate of Cal Tech and M.I.T. with a master’s degree in physics (? ), and a shadowy belt in martial arts. He’s a worldly traveler, and you know all the women want him (mainly because it’s written that plan) . The main inequity is the character of Dawdle works outside the system, rather than for some government agency. While you’re watching this film, mediate about all the Bond films you’ve seen, and seize out the similarities, especially in terms of the main villain and his remote island immoral. I don’t know, maybe the hope was to earn a franchise similar to the Bond series (or fair cash in on it with a one shot), and they might have been successful if not for one thing (okay, maybe a few things), Williamson can’t act. Oh, he can say his lines, but don’t quiz remarkable else. The man’s performance is about as wooden as they near, and he’s not helped by the lame script. And what is up with the status? Here we’ve got a relatively simple epic, and they’ve gone and jumbled it up to the point the audience has slight view what’s going on in terms of specifics until nearly the extinguish, when a spacious steaming load of exposition is required to straighten everything out, causing the film to speed procedure too long. The film has a few positives, though. There’s plenty of hand-to-hand combat, gunplay, car chases (is it possible to have a car traipse in LA without it going into the LA aqueduct system? I guess not), explosions, sexy women (no nudity, though, which is weird as that’s usually a given in these types of films, but then the Bond film also didn’t have nudity, either), and a few really suited bloodless ruin sequences (hence the R rating) featuring various people getting their necks punctured various accoutrements including a jagged part of mirror, an ice seize, and an acupuncture needle. Another missing element that’s celebrated in many films of the genre are the hyper bigoted Caucasian characters slinging all kinds of racial slurs aimed at the African American characters, so that when The Man bites it at the slay, there’s distinct justification for his demise, usually in particularly brutal fashion. I didn’t mind the lack of this, and it seems to go in line with my initial theory of creating a Bond-like franchise in that they probably wanted wider appeal, so they eased up on a number of aspects blaxploitation films are generally know for…one thing I really enjoyed was the scenes shot on status. There’s a tremendous deal of footage featuring Hong Kong, its’ countryside, and its’ harbors.

I view this movie was preety respectable. Fred did a colossal job with his charater Jefferson Stir,and the tale board was as worthy as his musty 70’s movies’ like hell up in harlem, and sunless Ceaser. If your a Fred Willaimson fan, then this is difinitely one of his movie’s you should add to your collection.

Now I haven’t seen the whole series (because it is not fully released in the US yet), Candidate for Goddess (also known as Piolit Candidate) is a huge series. It is of a SiFi Drama about the human hurry trying to stop alive in mysterious attacks from “Victim” (eye the name, which most likely has hidden meaning) . In this battle humans expend robots controlled take humans with EX power (actually it’s more like an evolved do of human, which basically is a person with a self inhancing ability) . The main characters face internal struggles while trying to become piolits of Robots to keep their colony. The robots themselves are also mysterious, especially the Goddesses. It seems to hint of the fact that they may not have been man made.

Altogether it is a broad series and I recomend it to anyone, however the 2nd eppisode in this volume contains a first-rate amout of nudity that was edited out of Cartoon Network’s version. However it is not graphic (so it isn’t Hentai) also on the Cartoon Network version the cigarette has been changed to a tooth bewitch. (I notion this was notable to mention to parents)

I am what one would call a hard core anime fan, but unlike others I do not gawk the extremely exaggerated “borrowed ideas” of what others gaze to be good. The only similarities between anouther series and this is slkightly with the contrivance the robots are piolited and the diagram they are piolited in Neon Genesis: Evangelion (another series in which I highly recoment for adults to peruse, very enlightening series) . The main differece though is that in an eva you sit down and in a Goddess you float. However, I seize some people think it borrowed because they both have the piolots link up directly with the mind to their crafts. I don’t own it resembles gundam at all (which is a war series), if the reason it is believed it is similar because of the colonies then it is incedibly improper because many position series in all over the world have people live on residence colonies and ships. This makes it comic to deem it was started by Gundam Soar (which is a grand series also), a series which basically is the recent gundam series in 79 conbined with other gundam series (hince the catagory it’s under: Alternate Universe Gundam Series) remixed with a cupple of current ideas and a more political thought on things.

The animation style is mixed 2D and 3D (similar to the procedure Blue Submarine No 6 is (a miniseries that should be perchaced by all anime fans)

The music is very nice with orchestrated music and mountainous vocal music. It really makes the series even more delectable.

The English voices are not too poor, they are not of the sterling caliber of Cowboy Bebop (which had the best dubbed voices for an anime), but they are not harmful and are peaceful reliable to hear.

Also, like I said, the record is also suited, though from what I’ve heard it is a short series (of the OVA size, which is about 13 eppisodes) .

The extras are really substantial, however it is better on the second dvd where you earn to peer what it’s like to do the dubbing for the prove the japanese stle.

The only main jam I ogle is the translation errors in the english subtitles (though it doesn’t pain the fun in watching subtitled anime) and the fact that there are only three eppisodes per DVD. (which is why it didn’t catch a perfect)

All in all a very sizable series that I’d recomend to anyone (over 13)

This series is the BEST!!! I have seen all the episodes shown on adult swim. I taped all of them and watched them over and over, but unfortunatly the tapes were corrupted and now I’m buying the whole series on DVD. The series isn’t a copy off of anything, but the only disappointing share is that the series is gash off when it could have and should have gone a lot further.

I unprejudiced sat down to search for the 5th movie in this spot and unfortunately what was in the package wasn’t the movie, but “special features”. Which means either I have to exchange the position and try my luck again (looks like this is a well-liked plight with this region) or I impartial fork over more money to net fair the 5th movie. Very sloppy to be selling something like this.

I received this situation missing the Disc 5 movie (it came with the special features disc instead) . I had it replaced only to have the same dilemma again. Very poorly distributed by the manufacturer. I would not recommend this position until they have figured out the jam.

The series actually starts to grow on you after watching a few episodes and you commence to connect with the characters and their travel throughout the series especially with the two main friends/adversaries Zed(A Young man trying to accumulate his plot in the world and fighting his feelings of isolation) and Noah(Zed’s best and seemingly only friend from the indicate world but suffers from a severe physical handicap and feelings of his hold inadequacies with Zed) . The amazon editorial gives the basic account site for the series for the most portion and except for some runt personal subplots there isn’t really worthy else in the series. The animation is kindly and the negate cast for both the English and Japanese actors/actresses were very apt as well, the battle scenes are very reminiscent of other series like YI-GI-OH or Pokeman as the characters spend beings called spirits to succor in their fights. The only complaint I have is with ADV films as they once again package this four dvd space in a one dvd case with a four saunter spindle to stack the dvd’s on top of one another where they’re distinct to bag scratched up unless you achieve them in individual cases, I know many anime studios are also feeling the pinch of the financial problems of these two years as any other business but there has to be a contrivance to assign money and do a honorable job on these box sets they sell. Serene after all that the series is peaceful a valid choice for anyone’s anime library so if you’re looking for a decent action anime with a radiant decent sage here’s a marvelous one to behold at…

This is a series that’s definately worth collecting. It had me bent the moment I began watching it. Action galore with twists here and there that’ll hold you watching true until the last episode.

I’m going to be fair here. If you’d advance up to me on the street 5 years ago and told me I’d demolish up owning a bunch of Tinkerbell movies, there would have been anguish. I’ve always had a scrape with Disney’s dual tendencies to 1) exploit — er, “franchise” — seemingly marginal elements of its classic films (resulting in everything from Cinderella II to the Jungle Book 2), and 2) warehouse/archive its improbable originals such as Snow White for blocks of time to construct additional inquire and buying frenzies. It all seemed a small too wintry and calculating, particularly for a company that I want to like, and that is responsible for greats like Cinderella as well as underappreciated gems like the Sword in the Stone. Plus I’m, you know, a guy.

See, a comic thing happens when you have kids. You fair want them to be ecstatic — and to fill onto that childish wonder as long as they can. What seemed like (and may well be) a cynical reach by Disney to mine the “resources” of its older films dissolves away when you realize how glad they composed build your kids. The first Tinker Bell spinoff got poor press for similar reasons, but when kids actually peek it they Admire it. And you know what? It’s actually not that terrible of a note for adults either.

The follow up, Tinker Bell and the Lost Care For, finds Tink support in Pixie Hollow on a mark recent adventure and with some unique friends to boot. Along the blueprint we’ll observe some quite impressive animation effects, and even learn a lesson about personal responsibility as well. My young daughter was completely mesmerized by the fable (at one point I actually snapped my fingers to catch her to blink), and it was even fairly (ahem!) challenging from my perspective as well. In a world that seems sure to beget children grow up as fleet as possible, you have to give Disney credit for putting together some products that simply let them be kids. If you cessation me on the street now I’ll unruffled negate ever owning these movies, but at home I’ll be holding my daughter as she giggles her diagram serve to Pixie Hollow for the umpteenth time.

I had extremely shameful expectations for the first Tinker Bell (BD Live) [Blu-ray] but was very pleasantly surprised. Tranquil, I wasn’t quite clear that this particular “franchise” needed a sequel. So, with trepidation I set this Blu-ray into my player. “Tinker Bell and the Lost Savor” actually blows away its predecessor. Obvious, the memoir is a tad predictable, but with incredible current characters (including Blaze the firefly, and the two Trolls at the Troll Gate), returning favorites (Garden fairy Rosetta whose bubbly personality is pure Dolly Parton), and estimable animation, this movie will be a joy to examine for all ages.

The story: Tinker Bell is entrusted with the creation of the scepter for the Autumn Revelry. Her friend Terence offers to wait on, but his micro-managing of Tink sets her off, and in her enrage, she accidentally breaks the precious and rare moonstone, threatening the life of everyone in Pixie Hollow. Lashing out at Terence, the friendship between these two fairies is jeopardized, and Tink must score a design to fix the moonstone…and the friendship. The rest you’ll have to survey on your own; this synopsis is greatly simplified, but I do not want to give away any spoilers.

On Tink’s scramble to repair the moonstone, she is joined by Blaze, a firefly. He is absolutely adorable, and given plenty of spunk and character by the Disney animation team. The animation team deserves a plethora of kudos; on Blu-ray this movie will bewitch your breath away; especially the scene in the Fairy Sage Theater. The lighting effects are amazing; absolutely heavenly. All throughout the movie there are many visual touches that will expose that the people tedious this movie took special care to elevate this many notches above the usual straight-to-video movie. Hidden Mickeys, Skull Rock, and plenty of other details that own repeated viewings. The Celtic-style music is assist, but I feel it is blended grand better into the movie than it was in the unique film. I really can’t say enough excellent things about this movie.

While the audio is crystal determined and glorious to listen to, there are really no dynamic uses of the surround that seemed memorable to me.

Alternate Scenes (4:00) : These are shapely worthy manufactured bloopers that are fun to contemplate, including gaffes, some bodily function jokes, as well as a few other mildly funny/amusing bits.

Bonus Short (4:46) : This is a magical guide to the Autumn region of Pixie Hollow, led by Terence & Tinker Bell. Qualified to glance, it does appear to be more of an advertisement for Disney Books than a legal short. Even the animation style is a exiguous static and looks more like a 2-dimensional book illustration with simple movement than an curious film.
