Edelbrock 7181 Performer RPM Intake Manifold Description:

The Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold is the network of passages that direct air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head. It is designed especially for spread-bore carburetors but also works with Edelbrock square-bore carburetor without adapter. The Performer RPM intake manifolds have a high-rise, dual-plane layout, with patented runner tuning and a 180 degree firing order. The Performer RPMs have larger plenums and runners to match the free-flowing exhaust, high-lift cams, and other modifications of a high-output engine. The factory composition-type embossed gasket also works satisfactorily. They are intended for high-performance street or competition engines that run from 1,500 to 6,500 RPM. This manifold produces incredible top-end horsepower. It delivers maximum power with a broad torque curve for high-performance street applications. This manifold has no provisions for exhaust heated or stock-style choke.

I am a teacher of Earth and Environmental Science and have the VHS version of this incredible documentary. It excels at highlighting the science of volcanology as well as the exact world decisions that the seismologists/volcanologists from the U.S. Geologists had to deal with. It profiles a few scientists who snappily became my heroes after watching this including John Ewert, Rick Hoblitt, and Dave Harlow (among others) . I will be purchasing the DVD version of this when it is released. It is a must have if you want to effect upon your students 1) how truly awesome volcanoes are and 2) how well-known scientific research is in helping to put lives. The DVD version of this should be incredible. I mediate that you’ll secure that it is a dependable nail biter!

I was one of the 20,000 American’s evacuated from Subic Bay Philippines when Mt. Pinatubo erupted. I have the VHS version — it is residence on.

Customer Reviews:

Great Product at a competitive price5
The features of this printer are awesome for the price, and I would highly recommend it. I purchased this product on sale for $569. I was also seriously considering the Brother DCP-9045CDN, which has slightly lower ink prices (with their high capacity cartridges), but I’m pretty sure that I won’t regret sticking with the Canon brand. After purchasing several Canon products (including this one), I have a lot of respect for Canon’s consistent product quality, customer service, features, and value.

This is my first home laser printer. I’m quite pleased to finally graduate from the world of inkjets: no more slow printing, annoying print head cleaning cycles, frequent cartridge replacement, or tedious management of print settings to save every drop of ink! The cost per page is about the same, but the reliability is so much better!

Some features that I really appreciate include:

1) Reliability: This printer always _just works_ when I need it to. Beats even the best inkjet printer out there. For my usage level, I fully expect to do zero maintenance or cartridge replacement within the next 2.5 years!
2) Speed: Wow, this thing makes quick work of any job!
3) All the little things that Canon gets right. Just one example: the print driver can automatically detect whether to use color or B&W mode…something I’ve always wanted a print driver to do for me!

The only notably missing features are:

1) The automatic document feeder only supports single-sided scanning/copying. So doing double-sided scan/copy requires manually flipping the stack and passing it through again.
2) No built in wireless.
3) Photo quality, while very good for a 600dpi consumer laser, is not competitive with inkjet-based photo printers. I still use this printer for many photos and am happy with the results, but I keep a second inkjet photo printer on the side for times when I really care about photo quality (i.e. scrapbooking, etc).

Although those features would be nice additions, I’m still very happy with what this machine can do for the price.

BTW, Canon’s own online store had the best prices I could find for cartridges for this printer, with free shipping.

Scanner failure2
I bought this unit around the new year with the hope of bringing some organization to my home office. I was able to set it up and start using it very quickly (less than an hour, even counting the time required to unbox it). I wanted to be able to print from several devices on my network, so I plugged it into my router and followed the simple instructions. As a network printer, it works extremely well for me. I can print from my mac laptop, from my main desktop and from other wireless devices (such as friends’ laptops) that I add to my network from time to time.

However, I was also really looking forward to using the scanner. When I first set it up, the scanner worked okay. The resolution is low (like 600×600) but adequate for scanning in documents. (Forget about trying to scan pictures or your kids’ artwork, of course). Unlike the printer function, the scanner can only work with Windows boxes. No problem.

After a couple of weeks, when I scanned a document I got an error on the windows box I use as my primary workstation and scan destination. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and all the usual voodoo that usually fixes stuff (all of this was incredibly time consuming). No luck, so I called Canon technical support.

I spoke with a nice guy who walked through a checklist of issues. I should add that I’m running a clean and plain-vanilla vista box. However, as soon as he found a step that I couldn’t take—in my case, moving a windows scanner driver from one folder to another—he considered the case closed. Can’t move twain.ds out of the folder? Not our problem any more. He advised me to contact the company who manufactured my computer, or Microsoft. I’m morally certain that when I do talk to these people they will blame Canon’s drivers and bounce me back to their tech support. Why haven’t I called them yet? Because it costs some ungodly amount to talk to live human, and there is nothing on the internet, the help boards, the FAQS, or Canon’s own technical documentation to help me try to resolve this issue without talking to human.

So: nice unit, shame that it doesn’t work. And even more shame that Canon has provided me with zero technical information to try to fix the problem myself.

Great Printer for All In One5
This has to be the best all in on I’ve seen on the market. Full two sided color laser printing is fantastic. I use this to print high quality double sided listing flyers for my real estate business and people are amazed at the quality of the photos and it prints so quickly. For the price this is a tremendous value and I would recommend this to anyone After using it for a month I decided to buy another one for my office.

This is one of the most considerable films I’ve seen in quite some time. In fact, it has lurched into the pantheon of my all-time accepted movies! It is a somewhat peculiar mixture of diverse ingredients, with elements of Office Spot - Special Edition with Flair (Widescreen Edition) and High Fidelity and even some allusions to Gladiator (Widescreen Edition) thrown in unprejudiced for fun. On top of that, noteworthy of it makes you feel like you’re in the Twilight Zone, yet there’s some downright slap-stick comedy that is stirred in for one improbable concoction of a legend!

Buy,Download, Or Stream Cashback! Click Here

The DVD details the life of an artist (Sean Biggerstaff) who is having an abominable time getting over his ex-girlfriend who unprejudiced dumped him. He’s having such a rough time, in fact, that he can’t sleep. I mean, literally - he has the worst case of insomnia the world has ever seen. Finally, he gets a job working 3rd shift at a supermarket, objective for something to do.

While there he meets up with a very handsome cashier (Emilia Fox) and some unprejudiced boring crazy co-workers. He looks at even something as banal as working in a grocery store as being an “artistic” (if not metaphysical? ) experience, and finds himself gravitating towards the shapely blonde cashier.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Cashback! Click Here

At the horrible, what this movie seems to be “all about” to me is a sort of meditation on feminine beauty, and the plot that (straight) men contemplate that beauty. Yes, this includes the female nude, but in an artistic contrivance as opposed to being sleazy. The film is bulky of useful flashbacks that befriend us understand the evolution of an artist’s perception of women. Many of these flashbacks,in fact, I could report to in my maintain life.

Be warned that this is a very “different” sort of movie. Being an independent film, it goes well off of the beaten-track, and to me that’s a suitable thing. While I’m definite there are plenty of people who will search for this and say “Boy, that was curious” I’m also confident that there are many who will say “Wow, I’d like to peer more introspective flicks like that!” I belong to the latter group.

In 2006, the short film Cashback was nominated for a best live-action short Oscar. Writer/Director Sean Ellis then went on to crawl the short about a night-shift worker in a supermarket into a feature about a night-shift worker in a supermarket. Using the same actors, and even most of the footage from the recent short, Ellis adds a painful breakup to our hero’s life, which brings on a case of incurable insomnia. Looking for a method to cash in on his inability to sleep, art student Ben Willis (Sean Biggerstaff) applies for a job at an all-night supermarket.

Anyone remember Saved By the Bell and Zack Morris’s envy-worthy ability to dispute the phrase “time-out” and thus freeze time? In Cashback Ben has this same ability, but he uses it in a distinguished more libidinous way: to undress heavenly women in the grocery store he works at and then diagram their nude figures. Granted, these gratuitous scenes are not the crux of the film, but they’re likely to be the most memorable to most viewers. As the camera slowly pans over (and abet over) the striking nude female forms, the audience is to glance Ben as an valiant young artist, not as a peeping Tom. The artistic presentation of the women, and the flashbacks to Ben’s childhood experiences do their best to give this impression, but the extended length of the scenes and their lack of importance to the final outcome of the legend, implies a hint of exploitation rather than simple artistic expression. For the most extensive seek at the indelible female acquire since Striptease, Cashback has cornered the market. Cleverly disguised in the earn of a romantic comedy, Cashback manages to comes across as an artsy British Garden Dwelling meets Showgirls.

With an endearing cast of characters, including Emilia Fox as Ben’s unusual savor interest at the supermarket, Cashback offers an curious record exploring the complicated topics of relationships and self-expression through surrealistic methods, including freezing and fast-forwarding time. At different points, the world is swirling around Ben, faster than he can support up, while at others everything stops and he can expect the world between the moments that we live. Eventually he comes to realize that there are times when fast-forward and freeze frame are on equal footing; no matter what, the past can’t be undone.

Cashback is the first feature from director Sean Ellis, and while it’s certain that he has astronomical talent in the fields of both writing and directing, it’s also definite that he has powerful room to grow as an artist. At times the film begins to promenade a bit, and points that seem to have steady significance to the account are left by the wayside as modern plotlines are picked up. This causes the film to play out almost episodically, like several short films strapped together. This is only fitting, considering that Cashback started as a short. Audiences will not be disappointed by the message of Cashback: “Sometimes care for is hiding between the seconds of your life”, but they may accept themselves wondering about the presentation of the message.

The trilogy of westerns made by Sergio Leone during the early to mid-60’s are among the best of the so-called spaghetti westerns produced. Leone’s modern cinematic vision and his original consume of the camera (a bit of trivia Leone never storyboarded his films. Unlike Hitchcock and other major directors he had it all in his head) acquire these films modern and mighty. Leone was the first foreign film director to do self reflective movies; i.e., his westerns were really about the classic western films he grew up loving with a post-ironic twist.

You can read about the plots elsewhere as I want to concentrate on the major drawback (and the benefits) of these DVDs; Both Fistful and more are presented in their widescreen aspect radio. Since Leone’s films benefited from the widescreen format and vistas, seeing them in a pan and scan version doesn’t do the films justice; it’s like listening to a astronomical fragment of music through a portable radio with dreadful reception. You collect the gist of the music and feel that’s worthy but it lacks the chunky impact and range.

The films present a high amount of analog artifacts. Portions of More also scrutinize quite weak. Both films deserve and require a restoration similar to that performed for The Agreeable, The Awful and The Unpleasant (although the version included here is not the restored version) . Both discs also include both pan and scan and widescreen versions of the films. There’s also theatrical trailers and booklets with background on the making of both films. The soundtrack sounds flat and thin–given the contrivance the fresh soundtracks were mixed and released that’s not a surprise. Detached, if the novel elements detached exist it would be worthwhile to revisit these films, restore and then remaster them with a commentary track (similar to that for Once Upon A Time in The West) . They don’t leer wrong but it’s determined that the negative is either in bad condition or the prints old were not pristine.

The Favorable, The Abominable and The Evil looks and sounds better than the other two films in the series. It also benefited from a distinguished larger budget and shooting time which is to the encourage of the film. The acting is stronger (Eastwood returns as does Van Cleef joined by the scene chewing Eli Wallach in a suited turn as “the frightful”) . THis version features a number of scenes chop for both the International and US version. While the scenes aren’t restored (and my copy didn’t even had the advertised “Italian” dialogue track but was tranquil), they provide an keen background as to the motivations of the characters.

TGTBATU looks collected has a pleasing amount of analog artifacts but not quite as dreadful as the first two. The sound is slightly better although peaceful thin (again, it was recorded and shown in mono. Remember, this was the early 60’s) . Leone’s direction and visual flair are more in evidence on the third film of the series. Here’s hoping that MGM will accumulate around to re-releasing the restored version that showed earlier in the year. Reportedly, Eastwood and Wallach re-recorded their dialogue (which might elaborate why the tracks are silent–it’s positive that the dialogue tracks must be missing or incomplete) and they had a sound alike for the behind Van Cleef.

While all three films are significant western classics, all three are marred by a variety of analog flaws. Their composed worth having but I’m hoping with the advent of reissues like Once Upon a Time in The West, that all three will catch a face-lift and second chance on DVD. It also wouldn’t distress to provide some though-provoking background on the making of all three films. Eastwood and Wallach are unruffled around as are various crew members/actors from the novel productions. Let’s hope it gets done!

Oh, and by the scheme, the Man with No Name did have a name in at least two of the three films here. That Man With No Name aspect was a marketing ploy dreamed up by the current studio (United Artists) to sell the films later on down the line.

My coarse rating does not apply to the movies themselves. In a period when most Hollywood westerns were becoming predictable and formulaic, Italian director Sergio Leone broke the mold! This trilogy, along with his last western, “Once Upon A Time In The West” (not included in this residence), are the four greatest westerns ever made, and yet were not produced by Hollywood. The greatest of the Hollywood westerns, such as “The Stunning Seven”, “The Stout Country”, “The Alamo”, “The Three Godfathers”; and south-of-the-border westerns like “The Like of the Sierra Madre” and “Guns For San Sabastian” (to name but a few of the greats) all plunge in leisurely the Leone westerns. If you are a fan of westerns and have not seen the movies in this trilogy, gaze them as soon as possible, but be prepared for something different than you are frail to. They are not slick, but instead narrate an legal grittiness of the former west. They are not gimmicky like the Hollywood westerns of more modern vintage (say from about the mid 1970’s to indicate) . The greatest western ever made has to be “The Fine, The Poor And The Evil”. This is the mother of all westerns! The acting in all three movies is salubrious, but the performance of Eli Wallach as Tuco in “The Safe…” is fabulous, and ranks as one of the greatest performances by any actor on film. Clint Eastwood also gives the greatest performance of his career in “The Suitable…”. It is arresting that Clint tried to recapture the magic of the Leone films in his believe productions such as “Pale Rider”, Hang ‘Em Hign”, etc., but never even came end.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Man with No Name Trilogy! Click Here

Now on to the problems with these discs. The transfers are not particularly hign quality, and appear not to be remastered. The first two trilogy movies are merely letterboxed rather than enhanced widescreen. But the biggest bummer of all is the sound quality. The sound quality on “The Suited…” is about as genuine as any of the versions I have heard. The sound quality of “Fistful…” is rather terrible. But it is the nefarious sound of “for A Few Dollars More” that is really a crime. The dialog is too far in the background, and the overall sound on this disc is so harsh that if you turn the volume up to a level where you can hear the dialog clearly, the hard, treble-heavy, distorted sound will bore a hole in your head! I’m not kidding. I cherish these movies so worthy that I will have to collect an alternative version of “For a Few Dollars More” to replace the one that came with this trilogy. If I had it to do over again, I would assume the best individual versions I could get, rather than extinguish money of this area. It’s too poor that MGM didn’t attach impartial a slight bit more TLC into these masterpieces!

Customer Reviews:

Really wanted to like it2
I’m a delivery driver and like to stop and take pictures of trains on my route so I was looking for a good travel cam with a wide angle and large zoom, and I thought this cam was going to fit the bill perfectly but it just didn’t work out for me.
I must have read every review on the web about this cam and wanted to over look what most of the reviews said and hope they were wrong, but they weren’t. First off let me say that the build quality of the camera is excellent and felt solid and comfortable in my large hands, but unfortunately that didn’t help it take good pictures. I really wanted to like this camera but I just couldn’t over look some of the problems.

The image noise was bad like most of the reviews said.

The pictures seemed too dark compared to other cameras I’ve had in the past.

Quite a few of the shots were out of focus even though it said it was focused when I took the pic.

The color red is way too strong and stands out like a sore thumb. Even though it’s adjustable in the camera I just couldn’t get it right.

Not what I expected - sorry Samsung!3
Well, after using the camera for a few days, I’m going to return it! I was so excited about this camera - I thought it could be “the one”! But alas, unfortunately it wasn’t. I had been watching this camera ever since it was announced, the day I finally saw it in stock on Amazon - I jumped. Actually, I was a bit upset when I paid over $33.00 for “expedited” shipping (just couldn’t wait for regular shipping) and it was not shipped for a week from the vendor. Oh well! One more thing - since I am returning the camera, 6thave.com is charging me 15% restocking fee. I wish I had known this before I bought from them, unusually Amazon products do not have this - again - Oh well! This is the price you pay for trying to be on the “cutting edge”! What a geek I am. By the way - I also own a NV24 and kinda like it except that the sound cuts out when you zoom (that was the deal breaker for me on that).

Extreme Summary: As with many of these types of point and shoot cameras - the HZ10W take pretty good pictures in bright light outdoor shots. But indoor - not so good! Video inside or out - not good at all (in my humble opinion). I will only review my negative points here - that’s what most of us really want to know.

Now for some detail:

Still Pictures (these notes are after trying many different settings):
1) Lot’s of “noise” in the pictures indoor (any setting I tried). I simply could not get a good clear shot.
2) Color was not consistent - sometimes way bright sometimes dull (?)
3) Some focus issues - not consistent. I know I know - I held it real still - even resting it on the table, etc…
4) And something very strange - sometimes while taking a shot indoors, when you press the shutter button to take a pictures, it goes though it’s thing by focusing and charging the flash etc., but then when you press down all the way to “take to the shot” nothing happens unless you release the button and then press again - very weird. It did this in about half of the pictures I tried to take. This was very frustrating and I feel if I was at a party or wanted to take a lot of pictures I would miss some good shots.
5) Placement of the flash is very bad - you can VERY easily cover it with your finger.
6) Sometimes the flash seems to overpower or under power at random shots.
7) Very bad barrel distortion - I realize this is a 24mm, but come one! All the pictures look like you are looking through a tube.

Now for the Video:
1) Indoor and outdoor are not as good at all. Simply, the video is not sharp, even in good outdoor light. Now before anyone say “get yourself a dedicated camcorder” don’t even go there!!!! Nowadays when these manufactures say HD I expect HD!!!! In all fairness, I did not hook up the camera via HDMI - I just used the SDHC card and transferred the file and played. I’m sorry - just not good.
2) A lot of “focus hunt”, especially while zooming
3) Placement of the mic’s are in strange places, they are on each side of the camera right where your fingers are. Although, the sound quality was OK - I’m concerned that I could easily cover the mic’s up in the future - just poor design in my opinion.
4) Now for the really bad part, when the camera is zoomed all the way in (normal position - un-zoomed that is) the barrel distortion is VERY bad, it’s like looking through a “fish eye” lens. Also, it looks like the image is falling off the sensor because you can see what looks like something obstructing the edge (or peripheral) image. I know my finger was not over the lens, so it must be that the 24mm wide angle is too large for the sensor.

Sorry Samsung - I really like your other stuff - I own two 40″ HDTV’s and a few computer monitors from you - love them! Maybe my camera is defective - but I’m not starting the game of back and forth - if quality control let this out that defective, I don’t want it!

All of this is too bad, because the fit and finish of the camera is real nice - seems to be a quality built unit, just not nearly as good as what expected! I really wish these cameras could just work out of the box with no massive adjustments. Check out my other reviews - the Sony T500 still wins!

And the search continues……..

Samsung HZ10W Camera Review5
I purchased the camera about 10 days ago and I must say I am Very happy with my purchase. After doing online research it came down to the Samsung HZ10W or the Panasonic TZ50. I liked the Samsung more because it had a few more features than the Panasonic. The features were: Samsung has a wider angle lens (24mm vs 28mm) and it also has a manual mode. So far I am very happy with the camera and it takes excellent quality pictures. In the wide angle mode it has a bit of a tube effect in which all wide angle’s do. For me it does a pretty good job in low light as well. Would have been nice if they would have included a full manual vs having to go to the web and print one out. Over all, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this camera to anyone who wants alot of zoom/wide angle out of a small camera.

It’s as if Darren Aronofsky filmed your very bear worst nightmare, assuming you had anything to do with drugs or drug addicts. If ever a viewer wondered about the interior position of being of drug addiction, this is the movie for you. Aronofsky feeble Hubert Selby Jr.’s book and screenplay as his source material and the source material is incandescent.

I care for movies which examine surreal states. This must near in portion from my fascination with surrealist art. Aronofsky’s film probably owes more to the leisurely Salvador Dali than to any other film director. I’m also fascinated by movies which go as if you were viewing them in a dream situation. We do expend a astronomical deal of our lives in a dream plot and stare life from an entirely different perspective in REM time. Aronofsky seems to understand this very well. Aronofsky and Selby, in intended irony, load their characters with dreams of their acquire which are destined to remain unfilled in tremendous section because of their drug addictions.

Ellen Burstyn plays the easiest addict to understand and she does her usual masterful job. She wants to lose weight so takes diet pills (accelerate) to do so. Her dream is to be on tv which is what spurs her to the run. Her son Harry, his girlfriend Marion, and his best friend Tyrone employ the outright illegal street drugs and dream of becoming mammoth drug dealers instead of extreme level pushers. On the draw to drug fortune, they themselves become addicted.

Jared Leto as the son Harry Goldfarb does a first rate acting job. Frankly, prior to this role, I didn’t mediate he had any acting talent. There is a growing pickle with his injection infected arm which will remain visually with you long after the movie is over. Jennifer Connelly as Marion Silver is every bit as fabulous as Burstyn in this film. She is Harry’s girlfriend, soon to enter a life of degradation due to the nightmarish descent into drugs.

Because this film is so visual, it is an ideal one for seeing in the best possible format available. Blue-ray was invented for unprejudiced this kind of film.

This film is rated #65 on the IMDb list of the best films ever. I’ll confine my comments to the quality of the disc itself. I’m fairly picky, and I gain both the audio and video quality to be quite ample. The gloomy levels, color saturation, inequity and sharpness are all respectable. The sound in both lossless and lossey audio is also favorable. I employ high-end equipment and I can’t fault the technical aspects of this release. Don’t let the rude imprint apprehension you…this disc is a bargain.

The delicate Cassandra Peterson dons her distinguished dismal dress and wig for the mammoth cloak in this hilarious 1988 cult-camp-comedy-classic, and the result is a friendly time for all! Well, maybe not ALL. Naturally, the humor can pick up a bit provocative, though it’s a far scream from today’s downright shameless standards! In “Elvira, Mistress of the Shaded,” Cassandra reprises her legendary TV apprehension hostess role as the character comes to a turning point in her career. Frustrated with an unsatisfying job and blatant sexual harassment from her current boss, the always dauntless Elvira drops everything to pursue her dream of doing her have point to in Las Vegas. She THINKS her agent has arranged everything, but gets a improper awakening when she discovers that SHE must advance up with fifty thousand dollars to find the theater. With perfect timing, a message arrives with news of Elvira’s mysterious spacious aunt’s sudden passing and requesting her presence at the reading of the will. Elvira’s hope is restored, and she packs her bags and hits the road to Massachusetts!

Unfortunately, once Elvira arrives in the little Rockwellian town to which she has been summoned, she discovers that she has only inherited a house, a book, and a dog, none of which she has any exercise for. Things are only made worse by the fact that the local townsfolk do not want her around; that is, all except for the teenagers who fancy her and the men who desire her. In-between fending off unwanted advances and worrying about how she can do worthless lemons into wonderful lemonade, Elvira somehow finds the time to seize the local kids under her sail and pursue the naive town beefcake as well. In fact, she develops one ingenious solution to bring all of her pet projects together: Putting on a late-night movie reveal for the kids at her beau’s downtown movie theater! The forces seem to be against our heroine, however, in the invent of the obnoxious locals. But, the effort of them ruining her note is the least of her worries! Tiny does Elvira know that her newly discovered Uncle Vincent is a villainous warlock with designs on acquiring her unique spell-book, which Elvira thinks is nothing more than a book of exotic cooking recipes! If she’s going to establish the world, her dreams of stardom, and herself, Elvira will have to recognize her correct birthright as “Mistress of the Unlit!”

“Elvira, Mistress of the Sad” is spacious campy fun in the apt spirit of Cassandra Peterson’s beloved television icon! The pleasing prima donna with gothic good-looks and a though-provoking, corrupt, yet well-intentioned and sometimes surprisingly bubbly personality transfers successfully to the gigantic cloak thanks to the overflowing talent and charm of the glowing Miss Peterson, who effortlessly carries the film from beginning to raze. No interrogate about it, this film is ALL about Elvira, and that’s a superior thing! Familiar faces dot the cast, and the acting skills vary, but in a goofy, goodtime comedy like this, it all works well together! So, if you are a fond fan like me, or if you are honest insensible engrossing, consume up a copy to contemplate this cult-classic for yourself! Colossal for viewing around Halloween or fair worthy anytime! Personally, I recommend (and have) the double-sided DVD with “Transylvania 6-5000″ on the flipside; Two gargantuan Monster comedies, practically for the label of one! That one includes trailers and a thorough, readable bio on Cassandra Peterson. Most likely, this version includes the same extras, though Amazon does not mention the trailers. Sadly, nowhere to be found is the short slow the scenes segment I seem to remember at the demolish of my used VHS version (which I no longer have) . Nevertheless, this widescreen DVD is astounding fun and you should seize it up fair away! I can’t mediate of anyone who would be more fun to party with on Halloween than Elvira, Mistress of the Dusky!

Cassandra Peterson stars as everyone’s favourite campy scare hostess Elvira, in her debut starring film ELVIRA MISTRESS OF THE Unlit. Filled with the kind of cornball fun that only she can provide, the movie is a laugh-a-minute campfest.

Fired from her late-night Public Access television note, Elvira gets another chance at fame and fortune when her long-lost Stout Aunt Morgana dies and leaves her as the sole heir of the will. It’s off to the tiny G-rated town of Falwell (secure it?!), where Elvira soon finds herself a duck out of water in a community fat of dim-witted yokels, led by Chastity Pariah (Edie McClurg) .

Can Elvira manage to achieve her skin–before the town morality leaders settle to burn her as a witch? And what the heck was the “secret ingrediant” in Elvira’s casserole?!

ELVIRA, MISTRESS OF THE Dim is fat of the same fun and campy noble humour that marked her appearances hosting “Elvira’s Movie Macabre” on television. She has an instantly animated comedy style and holds the entire film together with her zany character. The cast also includes William Morgan Shepperd, Susan Kellerman, Jeff Conaway, Daniel Greene and Pat Crawford-Brown.

The DVD from Anchor Bay includes a astronomical modern anamorphic print (with 5.1 Chace Digital sound mix) ; plus bonus Cassandra Peterson bio pages and trailers.
